Terms of Service
Last updated 7 October 2026
Draft for launch. This document explains how Kitefolio works today and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
These are the rules for using Kitefolio. We have tried to keep them short and clear.
1.Agreement
By creating an account or using Kitefolio you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Kitefolio for a company or team, you confirm you can bind that organisation. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2.The service
Kitefolio provides tools to build and publish a link-in-bio page and digital business card, and optional team features. We may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
3.Your account
You must give a real email address and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can choose one username when you sign up. It cannot be changed later, and we may refuse or reclaim names that are reserved, misleading, or infringe someone's rights.
4.Your content
You own what you post. You give us permission to store, display and deliver it so we can run your page, including showing it publicly when you publish it. You promise you have the right to use everything you add (text, images, links, videos) and that it follows these terms and the law.
5.Acceptable use
You must not use Kitefolio to:
- Phish, scam, spread malware or link to harmful or deceptive sites.
- Pretend to be another person or organisation.
- Post illegal content, or content that exploits or endangers children, or promotes violence or hatred.
- Infringe copyright, trademarks or privacy.
- Send spam, or try to harvest data from the service or its users.
- Interfere with the service, test it for weaknesses without permission, or get around limits, including by creating many accounts to earn referral rewards.
Anyone can report a page. We may unpublish or suspend pages and close accounts that break these rules, with or without notice where there is risk of harm.
6.Plans, the Kitefolio badge and prices
Kitefolio is free. Free pages show a small "Made with Kitefolio" badge that links to Kitefolio. Paid plans, when they launch, remove the badge and add features. We will show the price and what you get before you pay, and you will be able to cancel.
We may change plans and prices for the future. A change will not affect a period you have already paid for.
7.Referrals
Referral links let you invite friends. Rewards, if any, are shown in your dashboard and are given at our discretion. We may refuse or reverse rewards for fake, duplicate or abusive sign-ups. Reward levels can change.
8.Email sign-ups and tracking you add
If you add an email sign-up box or your own tracking (Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) to your page, you are responsible for using the information lawfully, for only emailing people about what they agreed to, for honouring requests to delete their details, and for any notices or consents the law requires. We provide a consent box and a visitor permission prompt, but we do not give legal advice.
9.Support access
You can let our support team into your account for a time you choose (at least 30 minutes, or until you stop it). While it is on, they may view and, if you allow, edit your page to help you. You must not ask them to do anything unlawful. You can stop sharing at any moment, and we keep a record of what they did.
10.Teams
A team owner can set a look and shared links that appear on members' pages, and can see members' usernames, page status and visitor totals. Members can leave a team at any time. Team owners are responsible for having their members' agreement to join.
11.Our rights
Kitefolio, its name, design and software belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to our brand beyond using the service.
12.Ending your use
You can stop using Kitefolio and delete your account in Settings at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability limits) will continue.
13.No warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not give any promises about results, uptime, or that content from other users is accurate or safe.
14.Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or INR 1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to go to court where you live.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you on the site or by email before it applies. Continuing to use Kitefolio after that means you accept the change.
